Job Purpose



Information Technology (IT) team members in this role function as IT professionals who are responsible for the on-premises infrastructure and cloud technology environments for CoreAqua. This individual has the technical expertise and aptitude to oversee the administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. The role is broadly split between providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new infrastructure or cloud architecture. This individual must possess the capability to manage a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions within the CoreAqua technical infrastructure.

Duties and responsibilities



Design, implement, support, monitor, and maintain CoreAqua sites infrastructure and services, including but not limited to Cloud architecture (Saas, IaaS, PaaS, etc.), server and storage hardware, LAN and WAN services, telephony services, electrical supply (UPS, Generator), cooling systems, and ensuring availability of infrastructure services with partners. Design, build, manage, and monitor of the following: Hyper-V/VMWare Server hardware and network (Cisco, Meraki, HPE, Aruba, etc.) support. Firewall rule sets and configurations (Sonic and Meraki Firewalls). Automated patch management (Microsoft Intune with Autopilot) Security scans on internal and external network components (Defender ATP). Routing and switching (including Layer 2, and SIP) Enterprise Backup solutions (Veeam) Azure and O365 tenants Microsoft device management via Intune Voip Phone systems ITIL and IT Governance best practices. Develop operational, installation, configuration and upgrade documentation for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, software, and other computer related systems. Serve as a liaison between other technical staff, management, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters. Provide onsite or remote access diagnoses and resolution of computer hardware and software problems. Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and consultancy for assigned technology and infrastructure systems. Evaluate infrastructure services and/or cloud architecture; recommend new configurations, provide training, or arrange for vendor training for systems users. Develop cost estimates and make recommendations for systems development and upgrades to existing systems.

Department Specific Responsibilities



Primary responsibility for support of infrastructure systems and software related to business systems, including but not limited to Dynamics 365, KnowBe4 Cyber security suite, Qualys, Vista Viewpoint. Responsibilities for the support of all infrastructure hardware, network and storage configuration, data center operations and infrastructure software including but not limited to Microsoft & IBM server platforms. Responsible for O365 and Azure architecture, deployment, maintenance, and support Responsible for cyber security on premise and in the cloud Support a variety of technologies, business departments, and systems, and independently resolve problems and pro-actively communicate solutions. Prepare clear and concise documentation. Perform Desktop Support technician duties such as, deploy desktops and laptops and configure full workstations for users as needed. Responsible for inventories of deployed assets by checking in and checking out assets in asset management system. Provide 3rd level support for user desktop applications such as Office 365, Outlook, Gmail, D365, printer access, VoIP phone configurations and deployments. Implement and support infrastructure change management processes that ensure change documentation and notification. Establish and maintain effective relationships with team and department members and system users.

Qualifications KSA's



Minimum of 5 years of progressive IT Network/Systems experience 3-year college diploma in the field of Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent working experience. Detailed experience in the following: Cyber Security. VMWare ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V Network Switching, Firewall (Meraki), and Voip Storage systems (SAN/NAS/Cloud) Entra/ Office 365/Azure. Excellent knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy management. Working knowledge of Canadian privacy regulations Excellent customer service and written communication skills

Working conditions



Office Environment, regular working hours. Up to 25% travel within US and Canada When needed, being able to work flexible hours, which includes working late or on weekends.

Physical requirements



Lifting may involve periodic moving/lifting of heavy items exceeding 50 lbs. Extraneous situations may arise for which additional physical demands may be required.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
