NextStar Energy (NSE) is an innovative joint venture company between LG and Stellantis. It will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begins production at the Twin Oaks site in Windsor, Ontario. The manufacturing facility will have an annual targeted production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking a highly skilled

IT System Engineer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT Systems and projects. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP, MES(Manufacturing Execution System, other IT Applications, Experiences for IT System management.

Key Responsibilities:



Understand the production process and operation scenarios, and perform installation, testing, error analysis and initial resolution, requirement analysis and improvement work of IT System. Define and improve the production process and operation scenarios in cooperation with related departments such as production/facilities/processes/quality. Diagnose and monitor errors to operate IT System in an optimal environment. For new and improved IT projects, communicate with LG Energy solution Head Quarter to perform work. Provide technical support for installation and maintenance of IT equipment. Maintain documentation of IT System installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes. Maintain communication between department colleagues and prepare and participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings with other teams.

Minimum Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering Self-Directed and ability to work in a diverse workforce Ability to solve problems by proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams on issues The willingness and ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team Participate in remote meetings with LG-Energy Solution Teams as needed Effective communication and presentation skills MS Office tool-based report writing and oral communication skills

Preferred Requirements:



+3 Year experience in information technology as well as experiences detailed below: + SAP ERP Base SCM/Manufacturing/Purchasing/Logistic related IT operation experience.
+ Manufacturing Execution System Admin Experience
+ IT Planning & Operation Management experience
