We are currently seeking a Technical Support professional for our growing company. The successful candidate for this position is a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be capable of responding to customer inquiries, communicating effectively with other employees and is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot PC network connectivity to provide maximum uptime
Adding RAM etc., to old computers to increase performance
Assist with the management and setup of mobile devices
Sonifi for conferences
Providing console access to remote Tier2/Tier3 engineer in case of System downtimes
Marriott/Hotels systems upgrades
Printer troubleshooting/installation on the network
On-call for urgent matters related to network or system
Follow standard Support Technician operating procedures and accurately log all support technician requests using call-tracking software
Research and make recommendations for new software and hardware as needed
Test and document corporate initiatives as assigned by Manager
Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support, and respond to and resolve technical support issues over the phone or the internet.
Manage the help desk and ticketing system.
Monitor email and chat support channels.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at the site, over the phone or the internet
Installing equipment and Troubleshooting any problems with the network cabling or the system.
Working with the on-site team at different locations for Data Center Cable Dressing and Equipment installation.
Communicate effectively with the office staff, maintenance team, technicians, and clients.
Qualifications.
College Degree (preferred)
Previous Data Cabling or IT experience is a plus
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow directions stringently
Comfortability working at heights and off ladders
A valid driver's license

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
