We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of various operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting techniques. The IT Support specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Schedule Shift time:
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Weekend and Holiday availability
Report to:
IT Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting desktop environments on Windows,
Assist users with VPN connectivity issues and ensure secure access to company resources.
Utilize ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira to track and manage support requests effectively.
Diagnose and resolve network-related problems, including LAN configurations and firewall settings.
Conduct software troubleshooting for applications within the Microsoft Office suite and other proprietary software.
Maintain documentation of technical processes, procedures, and user guides to enhance the knowledge base.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
Monitoring and updating the Odoo (ERP) System's existing data when required
Support for designing and developing ODOO's new module development to meet the specific domain requirements, to ensure appropriate turnaround time on all product images/information data entry for the Odoo system
Participate in inventory maintenance and reconciliation
Work with Sales and warehouse Operations to provide clarification, and rectify any errors or questions regarding sales orders, customer balances, returns, or any other Resolve material shortages quickly in order of priority
Complying with security backups and regular checkups to ensure the safety of the data being stored
Assist in maintaining Internet service, firewalls, and telephone systems.
Perform other duties assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with a focus on desktop support.
Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, including LAN setup and management.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Provide after-hours support as needed;
Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
English and Chinese speaking is a must.
Familiarity with Odoo ERP will be a plus.
