Position Summary:
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to clinic staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our systems operate efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to clinical and administrative staff
Troubleshoot issues related to computers, printers, phones, and other devices
Support EMR system access and basic user issues
Assist with network connectivity and system performance issues
Maintain and set up workstations and equipment
Support onboarding/offboarding of staff from an IT perspective
Escalate complex issues to external IT vendors as needed
Ensure compliance with privacy and security best practices in a healthcare environment
Qualifications:
Experience in IT support or a related technical role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and basic networking
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a healthcare/clinical environment (an asset but not required)
