About the Role



Dana IT Solutions Inc. is hiring a highly skilled

IT Systems & Operations Manager

to lead and manage

all aspects of IT

for one of our largest enterprise clients operating across multiple clinics and offices in Ontario.

This is a

hands-on senior technical and operational role

responsible for

end-to-end IT management

, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, helpdesk, networking, software systems, vendor management, and technology planning.

You will act as the

primary point of contact

and

IT lead

, ensuring maximum uptime, security, and operational efficiency across all client locations.

Key Responsibilities



1. IT Operations & Support



Deliver Tier 1-3 technical support across multiple sites Troubleshoot Windows systems, laptops, servers, printers, WiFi, networking, and specialized clinical software Manage onboarding/offboarding (accounts, email, devices, permissions) Maintain clear technical documentation, asset inventories, and procedures Provide remote and on-site support as needed

2. Network & Infrastructure Management



Monitor and maintain network equipment (switches, firewalls, routers, access points) Manage VPN connections, secure remote access, and connectivity between locations Oversee servers, backups, storage solutions, patching, and system updates Ensure high network uptime and proactive monitoring of all sites

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance



Manage endpoint protection, antivirus, EDR, and vulnerability tools Configure and enforce MFA, access control, password policies, and least-privilege principles Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, incident response processes, and system hardening Conduct periodic security audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

4. Cloud, Software, & Systems Administration



Manage Microsoft 365 tenancy, Azure AD, email, and security settings Oversee line-of-business applications, licensing, updates, and integrations Maintain backup systems, cloud services, and monitoring platforms Coordinate upgrades, migrations, and strategic improvements

5. Project Management



Lead IT initiatives such as network upgrades, hardware refreshes, new clinic setups, and system rollouts Plan and implement long-term IT strategies aligned with client needs Coordinate with electricians, low-voltage vendors, software providers, and telecom carriers

6. Vendor & Asset Management



Manage purchasing, procurement, and vendor relationships Track and maintain all IT assets: laptops, desktops, tablets, VoIP phones, switches, firewalls, etc. Ensure lifecycle planning and budget forecasting for IT equipment

Qualifications Required:



5+ years of experience in IT administration, MSP environment preferred Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop/Server environments Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, WiFi systems) Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online Experience with antivirus/EDR platforms and cybersecurity best practices Ability to manage large numbers of endpoints (150-300+) Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently

Preferred:



Previous experience in multi-site environments Experience configuring Unifi, Cisco, Meraki, or Fortinet networks Knowledge of backup solutions, RMM tools, and ticketing platforms Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSA, AZ-900, or similar

Strong communication and professionalism Comfortable speaking with managers, directors, and executives Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Problem-solver who proactively identifies issues before they escalate Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60,641.27-$85,561.30 per year

Concord, ON L4K 1Z8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Willingness to travel:

50% (preferred)
