YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

You will be reporting to IT General Supervisor. You will be overseeing the delivery and maintenance of Information Technology and Operational Technology systems on site and manage a local team of IT professionals and collaborates closely with global IT teams to ensure seamless operations. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.


Oversee maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software Coordinate with external vendors for software, hardware and services Enforce IT policies and procedures across the site Organize training for staff on new systems and technologies Supervise and support IT staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance Participate in hiring of team members Plan and manage health and safety requirements for the IT team

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a mining or industrial setting, including 3 years in a leadership role Post-Secondary education in a Technology centric field OR Process Control and Automation background with appropriate IT exposure and experience Familiarity with technologies such as UNIFI, Cisco, VMware, Cluster PBX, Windows Server, O365, Private LTE and Wireless Communications Experience in the mining industry would be considered an asset

Your Work Schedule:

Schedule: 5 days of work, followed by 2 days off or 4 days of work, followed by 3 days off at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
