POSITION:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic summer student to assist with the IT Coordinator and Director, Business Operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT team and support the day-to-day operations by, among other tasks, provide data analysis, user support and project work. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in the real estate industry and developing their IT skills and learn from industry professionals in a dynamic and growing real estate development company. This is a temporary position that will last for the duration of the summer months, with an expected start date of May and end date of August.

As a Summer Student, you will be considered a potential future employee within our growing company. We will provide you with training and knowledge so that you can become a success. You will gain valuable exposure to a variety of professional services that offer a challenging career path. The IT Student will report to the Director, Business Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other data visualization tools;
  • Support software testing efforts by conducting quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing;
  • Help manage user accounts and troubleshoot IT issues for end-users;
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software;
  • Participate in meetings and discussions to gather requirements and provide input for IT projects;
  • Take charge of all tasks delegated to you;
  • Collaborate with the team to assist with other projects;
  • All other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently enrolled in a College/CEGEP diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, 11 and ticket systems, an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
  • Ability to determine, analyze, and resolve computer problems and coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions;
  • Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of PC and/or mainframe applications and systems;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly;
  • Must be available to work full-time hours (Monday to Friday);
