IT SPECIALIST/TECHNICIAN THE CHALLENGE The incumbent will support users in all activities related to information technology; management of networks and servers, firewalls and databases. Your office will be located in Sherbrooke at Pro-Par Inc., and will be required to work on location 95% of the time. YOUR DAILY

  • Be the point of contact for users for new IT requests and technical support requests.
  • Ensure the "IT" reception of new users.
  • Ensure with the help of suppliers to maintain IT services that meet their needs.
  • Analyze recurring problems, make diagnoses, and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate software updates and user license renewals.
  • Perform the configuration and installation of client workstations and new telephones on the network.
  • Make purchases of computer equipment and license applications.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment and manage the obsolescence of equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain all types of printing devices.
  • Participate in audits and updates of computer systems.
  • Support the network administrator in his tasks.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
  • College degree in computer science.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience related to the job.
  • Experience in multi-site companies.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken, written)
  • Occasional travel
  • Ability to work with Microsoft technologies: MS-SQL, Office 365, Windows 10
  • Experience with centralized licensing platform management
  • Availability to work outside normal working hours.
  • Experience with firewall management, remote work and virtualization platforms and backup management software
