We are seeking a dynamic, highly engaged, and experienced IT Specialist! This versatile role will have you reporting directly to our IT Infrastructure Manager.



As an IT Specialist, your key objective is to successfully provide day-to-day support for all operating companies within the Lorval Capital Management Group, including production systems, office desktop computers, printers, scanners, and PC software. This position reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager and has the following general duties and responsibilities assigned to their role.



Duties and Responsibilities:



Providing first-level problem resolution for all computer hardware, software, telephones and network issues. Installing, configuring and maintaining all PC based computer hardware, software, peripherals in the office and on the production floor. Providing accurate and timely logging of problems and resolutions in the Help Desk Ticketing System. Maintaining inventory of computers, printers and peripherals. Evaluating and assessing the hardware/software need in the organization and recommending areas of improvements to the IT Infrastructure Manager. Providing rotational after-hours support for all PC based computer hardware, software and network problems for internal and external users. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:



A Diploma of Computer Science or equivalent is required. Comp TIA A+ and/or Comp TIA Network+ certification or equivalent is required. 2-3 years of working experience installing/configuring PC based hardware and software. A basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and 0365 preferred. Attention to Detail. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication (verbal & written) skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment would be an asset.
