About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on

IT Specialist (Junior-Intermediate)

to support day-to-day IT operations at Dan-D Foods Ltd. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, improving systems, supporting users, and working with vendors to keep business operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to support IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity best practices, and ongoing improvements.

What You'll Do

Provide daily IT support to employees (hardware/software troubleshooting, user support) Support and maintain

Microsoft 365 / Outlook / Teams

(basic admin, account support) Help maintain IT infrastructure including

computers, printers, switches, routers, and firewalls

Assist with system updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance Support cybersecurity practices, backups, and basic documentation (BCP/DRP support) Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when needed Help ensure systems run smoothly during key business operations (including inventory count) Support IT purchasing and setup of new equipment

What We're Looking For

1-5 years

experience in IT support, helpdesk, or junior system/network admin roles Strong knowledge of Windows environment and troubleshooting Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (

TCP/IP, OSI model, routers/switches/firewalls

) Comfortable supporting and learning

Microsoft 365 Administration

Strong communication and customer-service mindset Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks Fluent in spoken and written English

Valid driver's license

Nice to Have (Not Required)

IT certifications such as

CompTIA A+ / Network+ / CCNA

Exposure to

AWS

(certifications are a bonus) Familiarity with

ITIL framework

Previous experience supporting IT infrastructure in a warehouse / manufacturing / distribution environment
