Job Description

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Software Engineer IV to join our client.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $64 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; currently 2 days on site, 4 days on-site coming January
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities:

Implement automated solutions for cybersecurity business processes to mitigate risk and improve efficiency and reduce cost
60-70% coding, unit testing, designing
10-20% supporting other teams applications
Some administrative work

Experience & Qualification Requirement:

Computer Science or Engineering University Degree is preferred
8-10 Years of Cybersecurity Experience
Cybersecurity and Financial Institution background/experience
Banking or large organization is preferred
Experience within python based development and programming
Experience within application architecture design (software)
Experience with Linux operating systems, networking (protocols)
Project Management experience
Agile development methodologies
