IT Service Desk Analyst

Hybrid Mississauga

The IT Service Desk Analyst will be a member of a team of highly skilled hands on individuals tasked with supporting Just Energy\xe2\x80\x99s corporate users and endpoints. As an expert troubleshooter, the Analyst will lead investigation and resolution of support incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently drive technical infrastructure projects to support corporate initiatives. Coordinate efforts with other teams and external vendors to deliver quality solutions to the business.
  • Manage and Operate Azure AD, Active Directory, Office 365, SCCM, BitLocker (MBAM), Antimalware, VMware horizon View
  • Maintain corporate endpoints (remote and in office) compliant with security best practices and software updates.
  • Manage and deploy all software on corporate endpoints. Produce reports to management on request.
  • Some after business hours and weekend work is required in this role. Participation in on-call rotation expected.
  • Streamline operations by building appropriate automations. Build run-books for new and existing solutions.
  • Drive resolution of incidents with Endpoints, Access and Identity management, Software deployment and imaging. Assist application teams in diagnosing application issues. Be a primary responder for security related incidents.
  • An Ideal candidate would have some hands-on experience to using Orchestrators and/or PowerShell scripting to help create workflow for automations.
Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Advanced knowledge and current experience

o System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in a co-managed environment.

\xc2\xa7 Expert in Packaging and deployment: Office 365, ADR, patch management, Widows Images

\xc2\xa7 Endpoint protection and policies

o Management of VMware Horizon View VDI.

o Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM) administration and trouble shooting.

o Exchange Hybrid administration, experience with online mailbox migration

o Active Directory administration, user and group creation, working with GPO

o Managing Mobile Devices and remote workforce using Endpoint management software such as Microsoft Intune.
  • Demonstrated experience with automation. Must be proficient in Scripting languages (such as PowerShell)
  • Comfortable with occasional racking/un-racking equipment and connecting physical cables
  • Administrating BMC remedy force ITSM, including building workflows
  • Experience with Power Automations would be a plus
  • 2+ year experience as a system administrator in a similar environment
Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
  • Certifications in Server Administration. (VCP /MCSA or MCSE, Azure/AWS will be considered an asset).
