Zurich Canada is currently looking for a IT Service Delivery Analyst- Network Planning to provide support for network and telecom systems. Reporting to the AVP- IT Operations.

What you will do -

Provide Support for Network admin, LAN and Wi-Fi, applications and desktop.

Manage and report on service level agreements (SLAs).

Directs support of specified SME systems.

Network SME: Proper training, certification on the specific system(s)

Telecom SME: Proper training, certification or commensuract experience on the specific system(s)

General support for any/all project activities with network and telecom. This includes supporting the design, development,
documentation, implementation and operation of the network and telecom systems, including prototypes into the
production environment.

Completes assigned tasks on time and predictably. Prioritizes among assigned tasks and organizes activities for optimal
outcome.

Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally with team and customers, producing clear and well-written system
and procedure documentation.

Accomplishes individual goals, while working effectively in team environments.

Extended Hours during Peak Periods/Shift Work/Holiday Work, as required.

Tier 3 level support for issue and problem management capacity management, including planning, budgeting and execution.

System monitoring for proper performance (KPIs).

System reports of performance (KPIs), SLAs, issues and projects.

Vendor management, including full contract activity.

Provide direct support for all related budget management for annual maintenance and refresh.
upgrades for the specific technologies.

Complex, advanced MACs/upgrades/patches with special emphasis on proper
security patches.

Support expansion and change activities for project related activities, including gathering, documenting
and validating customer requirements.

Provide recommendations for system process improvements, including business case development.

Business Accountabilities -

Adhere to budgets in own area of IT, and monitor, review and update financial information (including vendor management
where necessary), in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and
accurate information.

Review and analyze IT project performance using standard reporting tools and highlight discrepancies against plan.

Undertake investigations and inspections of IT data, processes, practices and incidents in accordance with established procedure to identify potential or actual compliance issues and recommend appropriate action.

Independently collate and analyze data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats and make recommendations in
order to support the decision-making process in own area of IT.

Assess and evaluate IT business processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.

Investigate and assess internal client technical issues related to assigned software and hardware systems and manage each case to a successful resolution, working in conjunction with IT colleagues and directly with internal customers where necessary.

Provide technical expertise on aspects of the organization\'s IT infrastructure / software applications / architecture / audio and video and support to internal customers, advise them of appropriate actions to fulfill procedural and regulatory requirements or solve.

Input into project planning to ensure that requirements of own area of IT (service management/ architecture / risk & security) are properly addressed in projects, and project delivery is implemented correctly in own area in conjunction with BC&IT colleagues.

Follow defined security policies and guidelines to ensure information security and highlight any potential discrepancy.

Document outages, errors and any other customer or service issues, administer actions to resolve service problems and perform incident, problem and escalation management for own area of responsibility.

Job Qualifications

What you will bring to the table:

Required:

Bachelor\'s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Network Support and Desktop support area.

OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Network and Desktop support area.

Preferred:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
