Position Overview: •


The role of the IT Security Analyst is to monitor, investigate and respond to alerts and events from Security Applications as well as assist in managing Physical Security items related to IT. This position will support all IT Security investigations into Cybersecurity risks to the business. This position will assist in protecting the organization's information systems by identifying and mitigating security threats in support of the day-to-day operations of the company. The role will report to the Manager, IT Security & Applications and work with all members of the Infrastructure Support team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources to identify potential threats.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Assist in the preparation of security reports and documentation.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Background in the following technologies will be an asset: SaaS, M365, EDR, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation, Anti-Virus, IDS/IPS, Log Analysis, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, Network Forensics, Encryption
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion & confidentiality.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker) are a plus but not required.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and be a team player
• Help Define, Support and Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Solid Understanding of ITIL Framework
• Ability to conduct research into infrastructure issues and products as required

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 3 years of enterprise IT experience in an enterprise computing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting Cyber Security solutions and conducting technical investigations.
