Project: This project involves the retirement of an existing technology platform and the introduction of a new solution, requiring comprehensive migration activities. Following the migration, the assigned resource will be responsible for overseeing compliance and ensuring successful delivery of the project outcomes.
Reason: Project Manager required to lead and implement new project.

Job Purpose:
As a Senior Project Manager / Delivery Lead, you will act as the Scrum Master and Project Manager within an Agile environment. You will ensure the successful delivery of software products within Canadian Digital Banking. You will lead and support an Agile scrum team (Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics) and ensure the Agile methodology and principles are executed effectively. You will identify, escalate, and remove release and team impediments. As a Senior Delivery Lead, you will also manage the budget, schedule, risks, and issues.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager or related industry experience
2) 5-7 years' experience in managing and delivering complex software projects
3) 5+ years of recent experience with managing large volume of Migration and infrastructure projects
4) Demonstrates strong knowledge of Agile methodology while delivering IT projects. Ideally has Certified Scrum master certification (CSM / PSM)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Previous experience with GCP cloud is highly preferred
2) Recent experience with CI/CD pipeline
3) Previous experience with Top 5 banks / Financial institutes in nice to have

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree level or above education, ideally in business, financial or technology
• Certified Scrum master certification (CSM) is must have
• PMP certification is must have

Best vs. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a PMP and CSM certified Project manager with recent experience managing and delivering complex software projects. Previous experience with migration and infrastructure projects is critical for the role. Recent experience with GCP cloud is highly preferred.
Candidate Review & Selection
2 Rounds of interviews
1st- Video Interview (45 mins) with HM and a senior Team member: Questions based on previous experience
2nd round in-person with HM and director (30 mins): Interview to gauge the team fit.
