About the Role

As an

IT Project Manager

, you will join the Modern Workplace team where you will be responsible for translating client needs into Microsoft-based technology solutions within our Professional Services practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in complex environments with distributed business users and IT resources. A background in technical business analysis or adoption and change management is preferred.

: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Identify technical requirements and dependencies, ensuring a clear understanding of the technical aspects of the project. Leverage your technical background to understand and communicate project requirements, constraints, and technical challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide guidance and recommendations on technology solutions, architecture, and design decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Allocate resources effectively to ensure tasks are assigned based on team members' strengths and availability. Work closely with technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and milestones, addressing any technical roadblocks. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Proactively manage issues and roadblocks, making real-time adjustments to keep the project on track. Facilitate regular communication among project stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed about project status, changes, and upcoming milestones. Foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to achieve project goals seamlessly. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to meet project objectives. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct regular technical reviews and provide guidance to maintain alignment with project goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and project plans. Implement quality control processes to verify that project deliverables meet technical and functional requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent in experience
Proven experience (4+ years) in IT project management with a focus on technical projects. Strong technical background in software development, system architecture, or a related field. Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically in complex technical environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate project teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
