You are a tech-savvy IT Project Management Professional who excels in delivering exceptional solutions
for your customers and stakeholders. Your initiative, passion for technology, and exceptional decision-
making skills are critical to achieving project goals. As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for
the planning and successful delivery of the IT scope for large complex cross-functional projects with
significant risk and business impact in the Greater Toronto Area. Your projects will include network
infrastructure, Wi-Fi, audio-visual, IoT devices, and custom solutions used daily by our team members.Here\'s how - you will be responsible for:
\xef\x82\xb7 Takes projects from original concept through to final implementation, championing the
development of strong project plans while leading cross-functional multi-disciplined resources
through the execution of the plans to deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations
(on time, on budget and quality of scope).
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing the IT project budget, including monthly status reporting and explaining deviations from
the forecast.
\xef\x82\xb7 Gathering IT requirements, documenting project scope and risks, and coordinating with all
relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
\xef\x82\xb7 Developing detailed project schedules to monitor and track progress.
\xef\x82\xb7 Developing spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document requirements.
\xef\x82\xb7 Interfaces with project stakeholders and internal primes, applying exceptional leadership skills to
remove obstacles and resolve conflicts.
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing resource availability and allocation, including internal staff and external vendors.
\xef\x82\xb7 Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
\xef\x82\xb7 Reporting and escalating issues to management as needed.
\xef\x82\xb7 Using and continually developing leadership skills.You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle
\xef\x82\xb7 Hold a valid Project Management Certification and have 7+ years of IT Project Management
experience.
\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in an appropriate field of study (Engineering or Computer Science).
\xef\x82\xb7 Mastery of spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and MS Project.
\xef\x82\xb7 Recognized for successfully managing multiple projects and priorities while delivering on
commitments and budget.
\xef\x82\xb7 Skillful at proactively identifying issues and opportunities, analyzing facts and data, and
developing and implementing solutions.
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical situations, with
the ability to cater conversations to different audiences.
\xef\x82\xb7 Regarded as a builder of strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including
vendors.
\xef\x82\xb7 G Driver\'s License and full access to a vehicle are required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Required to work on-site (multiple locations in the GTA) 4 days per week, including site
assessments, meetings with key stakeholders, and planning.
\xef\x82\xb7 Depending on the project, there may be an opportunity to work remotely 1 day per week.
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be available to work core business hours.Great to Haves
