Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Program Manager to join our client.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $65 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid: onsite 4 days per week
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the BI Transformation Program, ensuring scope, timeline, and outcomes are met.
• Manage offshore vendor teams (70 resources), including performance oversight, resource planning, and ensuring delivery quality.
• Establish and maintain strong governance practices, reporting, and risk management across the program. Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly updates
• Collaborate with executives, senior leaders, and practitioners to align program priorities and communicate progress.
• Drive Agile ways of working across distributed teams and ensure adoption of best practices in delivery.
• Provide program-level oversight across multiple workstreams, balancing competing demands and dependencies.
• Support design, development, and delivery on Microsoft Azure technologies (DataBricks, Synapse, Power BI, Tableau).
• Ensure business intelligence practices align to enterprise standards, including semantic layer design and BI lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain high-performing teams, fostering accountability, clarity, and results.
• Deliver executive-level updates, presentations, and reporting with clarity and impact.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in program management, delivery management, or related roles
• Proven track record managing large, complex technology or BI transformation programs
• Strong vendor management experience, particularly with offshore delivery models
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure platforms (DataBricks, Synapse, Power BI) and BI concepts (semantic layers, data lifecycle)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
• Expertise in Agile frameworks and project management methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and deliver high-impact results under tight timelines
• Strong governance, risk management, and reporting experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Master's degree or PMP/Agile certification is an asset
