Main Accountabilities:
Provide technical support to end users across multiple sites via phone, email, messaging, and in-person
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
Document support requests, resolutions, and updates in the helpdesk ticketing system
Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices
Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment and assist with asset tracking
Support onboarding/offboarding processes by preparing and decommissioning IT equipment
Monitor and report potential security risks or breaches in accordance with company policies
Follow safety protocols when handling and transporting moderately heavy equipment (e.g., servers, desktops)
Coordinate shipping and receiving of IT equipment to remote users and sites via assorted carriers
Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with organizational standards for data protection and IT usage
Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department's operations
Main Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
Willingness to learn and take initiative; positive "can-do" attitude
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs safely
* Previous experience in a helpdesk, technical support, or customer service role (preferred but not required)
