In this position, you'll be leading a team size of around 15 people, and you'll have several team leads reporting to you.This company works with financial institutions across Canada, and they provide an innovative software platform to their customers. A significant part of your role will focus on ensuring that the platform is running smoothly at all times, to minimize downtime and disruptions. Experience in a software company, working on platform engineering would be considered an asset for this role.This role is suitable if you are an experienced people manager, with a strong technical background. • You have 10 or more years of experience leading and managing teams of IT technical professionals (e.g. systems administrators, cloud administrators, platform engineers, etc)
• You pride yourself on strong communication, with various stakeholders across the business (e.g. product development, project management, implementation consultants, software engineers, marketing, sales, back-office)
• You started your career in a technical discipline such as systems administration, data centre engineering, cloud operations, software engineering or similar
