This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration of IT systems within Egis. The ideal candidate will take charge of IT infrastructure deployments, support Mergers and Acquisitions activities, and align operations with our strategic objectives.Location flexibility includes any of our permanent office locations, such as Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, or Toronto.Job description

• Deployment: Lead the deployment of new hardware and software across Egis Canada offices, ensuring efficient implementation.

• Support M&A: Assist in due diligence data collection and integration tasks during mergers and acquisitions.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with managed service providers and the North America IT Manager/Director for cohesive project implementation.

• Security: Implement security measures in alignment with group governance and under North America IT Manager guidance.

• Business Needs Alignment: Partner with internal IT teams, managed service providers, and North America IT Manager to address business requirements through technical solutions that support strategic goals.

• Project Management: Aid the North America IT Manager in planning, designing, and executing IT infrastructure projects in Canada.

• Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge transfer to service desk teams for ongoing support within Canada.

ProfileThe ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure deployment and project management.
• IT Systems Integration: Strong grasp of IT systems integration, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) contexts.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding collaboration and communication abilities, adept at working with internal teams and external partners.
• Security Measures: Proficiency in implementing IT security measures and adhering to organizational governance.
• Project Management: Skill in managing concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both French and English preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Solid background in cloud and SaaS technologies, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Leadership: Proven leadership in guiding teams and overseeing IT modernization projects.
• Industry Best Practices: Familiarity with the latest IT methodologies, policies, and governance.
• Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are advantageous.
