Are you currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering? Do you have a passion for troubleshooting, infrastructure, and hands-on technology support? We are #hiring an IT Infrastructure Student for a 4-month work term commencing May 2026, based out of our Calgary head office. If you're a motivated self-starter with exposure to Identity Access Management (IAM), Active Directory (AD), and / or Cloud, we want to hear from you!
You will support the IT team by providing end-user technical assistance, managing access requests, and assisting with onboarding and server maintenance tasks. You'll contribute to system upgrades and cloud migration projects through documentation and testing support, while gaining exposure to tools like AD, Citrix, and IAM systems. This role is ideal for someone looking to build practical IT infrastructure experience in a collaborative, enterprise environment.
What you will be doing

  • Provide technical support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues
  • Assist with onboarding / offboarding tasks, including IT asset setup and account access
  • Create and disable access requests for various applications
  • Support infrastructure analysis across server environments
  • Help apply maintenance and security patches to Windows servers
  • Create training documentation, test scripts, and process documentation to be used during system upgrades and migrations to cloud
  • Gain exposure to tools like AD, Citrix, Remote Desktop, and IAM
  • Perform other related IT infrastructure tasks with a proactive approach
What we would like from you
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows server operating systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of networking and server administration is preferred
  • Familiarity with AD, Citrix, and Remote Desktop is preferred
  • Exposure to Cloud platforms and IAM concepts would be an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Location and other key details
  • This is a 4-month temporary position commencing May 2026, based out of our Calgary head office: 5055 11th St NE, Calgary, Alberta
  • The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
