The Role
We are hiring an IT Help Desk Technician to support day-to-day IT needs and assist with maintaining core systems, including our Microsoft and Citrix environment. This position combines front-line user support with opportunities to take on more advanced infrastructure responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to IT requests for hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity
Set up and maintain computers, phones, printers, and related equipment
Assist with Citrix environment and virtual desktop support, monitoring, and upgrades
Work with external vendors and document solutions to improve IT processes
Qualifications
3+ years of IT support experience
Education in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
Citrix experience strongly preferred
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Assets
Experience with SQL, Microsoft O365 Exchange, QuickBooks, and Crystal Reports; relevant certifications; and exposure to manufacturing or multi-division environments.
