OpenText is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the team as an experienced hands-on Environments& Deployment Lead.

Reporting to IT Environment / Deployment Senior Manager, be part of a winning team that leads the way in Enterprise& Digital Information Management.



WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS



Work closely with IT Architects, Application owners, development, business leads, vendors and product owners to understand full scope of delivery and landscapes Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Overseeing the administration of all environments provisioning and deployments, identifying strategies and way forward Managing /building complex environment landscapes that connect multiple applications. Ability to coordinate technical activities with technical and business teams within and outside the organization Participation in planning and scheduling of environment build and maintenance activities. Ensure that all teams follow the process/ governance defined as part of IT Environment& Deployment Strategy Review the effectiveness of Environment management processes, and make improvements as required Manage communication and provide regular updates to stakeholders and internal teams regarding environment status and utilization. Liaison/Coordination with Internal Build teams/third parties to develop a catalog of available Environments/Instances within OT. Creation of documentation for repeatable Environment Management procedures Participation in ITSM procedures where necessary and adherence to OT policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED



Experience:



IT: min 10 years (Required) Knowledge of Environment and Deployment Principals& Vendor Management (SAP, SFDC are high priority) Experienced with building integrated environments from scratch, maintenance, SaaS Upgrades, Data Refreshes and Automation Techniques. High-level of CI/CD exposure and ability to deploy changes to Applications as part of projects and Releases. Excellent Infrastructure understanding to raise and resolve Infra requests and troubleshoot interconnected systems. Proven Lead Level

Education:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant Tech experience (Required)

Mandatory Skills:



Tech Hands on Environments and Deployment Management CI/CD Automation exposure and experience is a must Infrastructure knowledge relating to Firewalls, Server builds and Application support. Influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Effective communicator who can work seamlessly with technical/ non-technical resources. Must be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills and a CAN-DO attitude. Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. Creative problem solver who can solve problems and offer tactical and strategic solutions. Ability to build professional relationships with colleagues. Self-driven and proactive attitude to identify risks/issues and to mitigate/solve them. Take proactive ownership of assigned work packages. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP Products and SaaS products like Salesforce, uccess Factors etc. Solid writing and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
