Able to work on-site in Mississauga, Ontario, 5-days a week (Monday-Friday, 8:30am start)?

You have reliable transportation to get to work on time?

Proficient in Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook?

Understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory?

Exposure to Microsoft Intune as a software deployment tool and to Access control systems?

Flexible working on-call and on weekends?

Able to provide after-hours support and travel to remote sites (with supervision), when needed?

This is a full-time, 8-month position, starting January 2026, and is open only to students in a registered Co-op Program.



ROLE: IT Co-op Student (8-months - Mississauga, ON)



Burnbrae Farms is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our IT team in Mississauga, Ontario. This position offers valuable hands-on experience supporting a range of software applications and assisting end-users with technical needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with staff during the implementation of new systems and technologies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of IT operations. This role requires occasional after-hours support and travel to remote sites under the supervision of a senior team member. Ideal candidates are in their third year or above of a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related program, and are actively enrolled in a recognized co-op program. We are looking for an individual who is driven, self-motivated, and available to work on-site five days a week.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:



Provide End-user with Hardware/Software application support in person/remotely:

Resolve day-to-day IT issues through IT ticketing system Manage, classify, and assign IT tickets and escalate to appropriate IT staff Set up new laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, cellphone, etc. for new hires/staff and provide primary "New-Hire" orientation of information systems Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and maintenance Analyze and resolve technical issues with laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, cellphones, and other IT digital assets
Perform administrative tasks:

User administration Security Access Card administration Company cellphones administration Systems Health checks
Knowledge Base Documentation:

Contribute and maintain technical KB articles to ensure custom modifications, and procedures involved with the maintenance of endpoint equipment is properly documented Create, review, and contribute to the end user knowledge base articles to ensure frequently asked questions are properly documented

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:



Technical Skills:

Proficient in Office 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Exposure to Microsoft Intune as a software deployment tool Exposure to Access control systems Knowing French language is an asset Knowledge of Multi-factor authentication is an asset Knowledge of ClearPass is an asset Experience working with clients remotely over Teams/phone/computers is an asset Experience with First Level Support and trouble shooting laptops/cellphones and printers is an asset
Personal/Organizational Skills:

Driven, willing to learn, and take on new responsibilities High attention to details Able to work alone and in a team Good communicator, both verbal and written Excellent customer service, and having diplomacy Punctuality, meeting deadlines, and ability to work under pressure Self learner

EDUCATION:



3rd year or above College or University. Enrolled in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related subject. Actively enrolled in a recognized co-op program.
