About the role

We're looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing team!

As an IT business analyst, you play a vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT and Quality Assurance. You will be part of a small squad with the purpose of supporting Intact Lab's digital products to the point where that product is the best product, not just in the insurance field, but the best product out there, period.

What you'll do here:

• Support the maintenance process of products by coordinating Production Incidents and Problems; Analyzing them, proposing a solution and assess impact on operations
• Coordinate major incidents with affected squads and stakeholders
• Participate in business prioritization sessions to ensure added-value for clients
• Make impact analysis to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT product team
• Support the development of solutions and monitor performance
• Support Quality Assurance activities and User Acceptance Tests
• Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done
• Contribute to a solid, reusable, and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in analysis (Business, Functional, Information)
• Project experience in Scrum or Kanban mode
• Experience and knowledge of the insurance field
• Experience and knowledge of applications in a Web environment or Mobile
• Experience in production support activities
• Mastery of JIRA & Confluence
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace
• Functional knowledge of French is a definite asset
