We are seeking a person with expertise in website development to create and update the website for the Mining Engineering section in the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering. Duties include: creating a draft of the new website, discuss it with professors and staff from the department, gather material from departmental members for content of the website (narrative and picture), uploading all the material on the website, keeping the website updated. Communicating with McGill units to make sure the content is conform to the McGill standards.Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:Expertise with website development, and training on McGill-specific website development is a must. Knowledge about mining and materials engineering is also crucial. As such the best candidate will be a person with a degree in materials science or mining engineering with training and experience with website development.Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
