The position at a glance

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Enterprise Architecture team and help automate key architectural processes using artificial intelligence techniques. You will work side by side with senior architects, data scientists and platform engineers to turn repetitive, manual tasks (e.g., technology stack recommendation, data flow mapping, compliance checklists, impact analysis) into intelligent, repeatable workflows. The experience will give you hands on exposure to enterprise scale cloud environments, AI/ML model building, and modern DevOps tooling while contributing to the strategic speed of our architecture delivery.

In detail

The team members are responsible of the following activities:


Process Discovery & Mapping
Identify and document high impact architectural activities that are currently manual (e.g., technology fit gap analysis, asset inventory validation, pattern selection for new solutions).
Work with architects and domain SMEs to capture inputs, decision rules and output artefacts in a format suitable for automation.
AI Driven Prototype Development
Design, train, and evaluate lightweight machine learning or natural language processing models that can suggest architecture components, classify technology stack options, or flag compliance gaps.
Use Python (scikit learn, pandas, TensorFlow/PyTorch, spaCy, LangChain, etc.) and Jupyter notebooks to iterate quickly.
Automation & Integration
Build proofs of concept that embed AI models into existing toolchains (e.g., ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Create CI/CD pipelines that automatically run the models, generate artefacts (architecture decision records, diagrams, risk scores) and push them to the appropriate repositories.
Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday.

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

Bachelor's or Master's program (or recent graduate) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit learn, and at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
Basic understanding of IT Architecture concepts (e.g., reference architectures, technology stacks, cloud service models, CMDB, TOGAF/FEAF).
Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals (classification, regression, NLP, prompt engineering) and experience with building simple models or prototypes.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps tooling (Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker).
Ability to work with structured and semi structured data (CSV, JSON, XML) and comfort with SQL or NoSQL queries.
Professional knowledge of the English language Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional working proficiency in English language is required.
