Overview of The Role:



We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Analyst specialized in network security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with microsegmentation concepts and tools (ex: Illumio, Guardicore) and a good understanding of firewall principles, rules, and traffic flow. Knowledge of NSPM solution is a plus (ex: Tufin, Algosec, or Firemon). This role is focused on the daily operations of microsegmentation, ensuring optimal network security and performance. This role requires proficiency in firewall technologies and relevant experience.


How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:



Daily Microsegmentation Operations: Design, implement, and manage microsegmentation policies using various tools and concepts. Continuously monitor and adjust microsegmentation policies to optimize network security. Analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate potential security threats. Onboard new applications and servers. Knowledge of Illumio software is a plus. Firewall Rule Management: Configure, manage, and maintain firewall rules to ensure secure and efficient traffic flow. Conduct regular reviews and audits of firewall rules to ensure compliance with security policies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to firewall configurations and traffic flow. Network Traffic Analysis: Monitor and analyze network traffic patterns to ensure secure and efficient data flow. Identify and address anomalies or unusual traffic patterns that could indicate security breaches. Network Management: maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Manages the network equipment inventory, to ensure to maintain an up-to-date inventory of switches, firewalls and related equipment. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for both IT and OT systems. Manages the support process and escalations to ensure efficient resumption of operational processes when issues occur, including root cause analysis in response to critical incidents, to understand, document and plan remedial actions to prevent reoccurrence. Including on call after hour support rotation Security: Monitor network security measures to protect data, systems, and network integrity. Collaboration with cybersecurity for Incident Response and cybersecurity investigation Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements. Regularly update network configurations and firmware. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies. Collaboration: Work closely with applications owners and other IT, security and operations teams to integrate microsegmentation with existing & new network infrastructure. Provide training and support to teams on microsegmentation and firewall management best practices.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:



College diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in a network position Certifications: Relevant network and security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP) are a plus. Proven experience as a Network Analyst, network Administrator or similar role, with a focus on microsegmentation or with traffic flow analysis and understanding Experience with microsegmentation tools and concepts (e.g. Illumio, Guardicore, VMware NSX, etc.). Understanding of firewall principles, rules, and traffic flow. Experience with Cisco & Palo Alto is a plus. Knowledge of NSPM solution is a plus (ex: Tufin, Algosec, or Firemon). Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work beyond core business hours if necessary to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned network/system modifications Be part of on-call rotation Available for occasional travel if required. Bilingual (English/French), both oral and written Have a valid driver's license
As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary range: $66,960 - $87,890
