Join our team!:Reporting to the Manager, Service Management, the IT Analyst is responsible for creating, sustaining, maintaining, monitoring and reporting on IT hardware and software asset inventories, including license and certificate management, and other technology analysis and support. These activities will include creating, monitoring and sustaining data records related to systems and assets, levels of usage, and reporting to support IT operations, audit, and regulatory requirements. This position will also support the operation and enhancements to ITSM and CMDB.Responsibilities:

  • Create, collect, maintain and monitor a comprehensive and accurate records of IT hardware and software assets, including asset type, warranty information, maintenance schedules, license usage, renewal dates, costs and volumes, certificates, meeting rooms, and telephony assets.
  • Report on inventory levels, trends, and usage patterns to forecast future inventory needs and associated costs.
  • Engage with IT service provider(s) and other business units to determine inventory needs, failure rates, lifecycles and ensure timely reporting and data is available related to IT assets.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures to enable monitoring of usage and data driven decision making.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts, audits, reporting and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Support evidence collection and organization for CSOX & ISMS controls.
  • Review requests for software or hardware changes within the established guidelines of the IT department.
  • Conduct regular inspections, tests, audits and reporting of technology assets to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.
  • Support suppliers and vendors on the install new equipment.
  • Participating in IT processes and procedures maintenance and enhancements, including ITSM and CMDB.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree or diploma in information technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years IT experience, including at least 1 year of hardware and/or software inventory management experience.
  • Proven ability/experience in the above noted responsibilities.
  • Requires a strong skillset in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to effectively capture, analyze and report on IT data, including ability to prepare and present reports.
  • Experience with inventory management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3/4 methodologies for IT systems and asset management.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and CMDB data related IT service delivery.
  • Understanding of system monitoring and license management tools such as SolarWinds and ServiceNow is an asset.
  • Aptitude toward identifying continues improvement opportunities through data driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and continuously learn within a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service and end-user experience.
  • Proven track record of good attendance and performance.
