Job Description

This Security Officer position will be responsible for deterring criminal activity and enforcing rules assigned to specific properties and locations. We are seeking candidates with strong communication skills who will be assigned to areas to maintain order, prevent illegal activity, perform bag checks, enforce the signing of attendance sheets, and other various site protocols.

We are hiring for contract/sporadic work -- Dependent on the client's needs.

Candidate must be fluent in English!

A negative Criminal Record Screening and Vulnerable Sector Check are required upon hire.

Previous security experience is considered an asset.

First Aid certification is considered an asset.

Mental health and addictions training is considered an asset.

Candidate must be 19 years of age or older (as required by law).

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Harbour Grace, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
