is looking for an experienced ISA Certified Arborist, who can climb and operate Bucket Truck to join the crew.

Responsibilities:

Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of a rope or ladder. Responsible for maintaining, preserving, inspecting, pruning and shaping trees to ensure they're in a healthy, safe and attractive condition. Properly maintain, operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers. Requests repair or replacement of equipment when necessary. Assume the role of a crew leader, direct the ground crew members. Operate Bucket Truck with ease. Assist the ground crew members in job site setup, debris removal and cleanup. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

Valid ISA Arborist Certification Minimum of 3-5 years' experience tree climbing. Knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and correct arboriculture techniques for trimmer, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing. Enforces on-the-job safety practices. Valid provincial driver's license Class 5 with Air Brakes. Present 3 years of clean driver abstract. Own climbing gear, PPE. Possesses the ability to lift and move 30-50 pounds. Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work tasks such as rain, heat, sun, cold, snow.

Employment conditions:

Wage $35.00 - $45.00/hour (Wage will be negotiated based upon experience) 40 hours per week on average Paid lunch break
