This role offers flexibility for remote work. For candidates located within 50 km of our Ottawa office, we follow a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget. Define project objectives with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility. Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and proactively address risks. Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to optimize resources. Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget with precision. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear updates and escalating issues when needed. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, process maps, and reports. Delegate tasks effectively based on team members' strengths and experience. Apply leadership skills to guide teams, influence decisions, and drive results. Support process improvement and organizational change initiatives. Follow Change Management principles in all project activities.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience; PMI certification preferred. Proven experience managing large IT implementation projects. Strong knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage risk, and drive organizational change. Technically curious, collaborative, flexible, and customer-focused. Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
