MUST HAVE 3 years of experience. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, landscape maintenance and horticulture. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The Irrigation Technician will need to work well independently and as a team to enhance the aesthetic appeal of various properties while ensuring sustainable water management practices.

Duties

Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper coverage and functionality. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize excavators and other heavy machinery for installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with gardening and landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape designs. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system adjustments. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

3 years of experience required Proven experience in irrigation installation and maintenance is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques. Proficient in operating excavators, hand tools, and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
