Job Description

We are seeking motivated, hardworking Iron Workers Welders with experience in construction for projects in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

Erect and install structural steel and miscellaneous metals components in construction job sites. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols: fabrication and construction drawings, erection diagrams. Align, weld or bolt units in place. Able to lift heavy materials and work at heights. Assist cranes and operator with lifting materials for installation. Operate man lifts and other miscellaneous job equipment. Follow safety procedures and work in a team environment.
Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Eligible for CWB qualification or internationally certified welding programs. Minimum 2+ year(s) experience as an iron worker or welder. Knowledge of common methods, materials, tools/equipment for the role. Possession of a valid Manitoba Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operators License and own transportation to and from site required.
