Job Summary

We are seeking two skilled CWB certified Ironworkers to join our construction team for approximately 4-6 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and assembly, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in stick welding techniques and mechanical knowledge, ensuring that all structures are built to specifications and safety standards. Safety is of upmost importance on this project.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques specifically stick welding. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools. Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position heavy materials using cranes. Conduct machining operations as needed, ensuring precision with calipers and other measuring instruments. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment while ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience in ironworking or a related field such as construction or manufacturing. Proficient in welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding. Familiarity with rigging practices and crane operation is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively. Knowledge of assembly processes related to metal structures is a plus. Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
