Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various tools and machinery. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards in all work environments.

Duties

Fabricate and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications. Operate power tools and machinery, including cranes and press brake machines, to shape and assemble metal parts. Perform ductwork installation as required for various projects. Use calipers and basic math skills to ensure precise measurements and cuts. Rig materials for lifting and transport, ensuring safe handling practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Ironworker or similar role in construction or manufacturing. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential for interpreting project plans. Familiarity with operating cranes, power tools, and other relevant machinery. Basic math skills for accurate measurement and calculations. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols. Must have reliable transportation
