Jardeg is recruiting Ironworker Journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the Imperial Oil Kearl site near Fort McKay, Alberta for outage.



Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Kearl site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting Oct 31st, 2025 and running until November 24, 2025.



Responsibilities:

Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment. Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.


Minimum requirements:

Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry and Monitor Energy Safety Canada Wood Buffalo wildlife awareness Standard First Aid (Level A or C) Basic Rigging In person Driver's License
