Jardeg is recruiting for a Journeyperson Ironworker to join the Cenovus Lloydminster team. Shift schedule will be 9 days on, 5 days off for 10 hours a day.
Ironworker tradespeople fabricate, construct and join scaffolding, structural steel buildings, ornamental ironwork and pre-cast structures.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and specifications to lay out the work Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process Structural steel installations and demolitions
Minimum Requirements:
Construction Safety Training (CSTS 09 or 2020) Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive AWP Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection WHMIS Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
