We are looking for a full-time IQAN Programmer to support the Cypress Robotics division of Axis Forestry. This position involves diverse and complex work where you will be challenged and have opportunity to grow with us.

Job Duties:

HMI UI layout and design. Support, enhance and maintain existing IQAN based applications. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop new innovations within the Cypress Robotics division. Perform complex bug verification, release testing and beta support. Research and develop solutions identified by the end user and/or field technicians. Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians concerning the Cypress controller- most times from the office, but occasionally attending a machine in the field alongside Axis field technicians. Test and inspect electronic components and assemblies as required using basic equipment and customized test sets. Participate in quality control measures prior to shipment of electronic goods. Maintain organized and documented software versions. Support team members with production as required. Maintain an organized work area, keeping tools and equipment in working order. Organize and manage workload to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience programming using the IQAN software suite is required. PLC or embedded programming may be considered with a willingness and desire to learn IQAN. A diploma or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Technology, Industrial/HMI Instrumentation or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years professional experience in software programming preferred. Knowledge and experience with basic electronic test equipment required. Minimum of two years previous experience with systems trouble shooting preferred. Ability to interact with other staff members with professionalism and a positive manner. Willingness to support team members in the field when required. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail
