We are currently seeking seasoned iOS developers to join our dynamic aeqbanking team. The ideal candidate should love tackling complex architectures and consulting with clients to bring clarity to challenging enterprise environments. As iOS Developer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working with our financial services team to implement digital banking transformation projects on the Backbase platform. Using Backbase, you will be creating new omni-channel user experiences that take banking into the 21st century and building integrations that enable our customers to overcome the limitations of aging legacy systems. You will own the creation of key components which form the backbone of the modern financial institution, and be dedicated to finding ways to make solutions faster, more resilient, and flexible.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of a high-performance Scrum team, made up of software developers, UX designers, architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and sales individuals, who all work together in-house at aeqbanking. On occasion, you may be required to work off-site with our clients\xe2\x80\x99 technology teams.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing native mobile applications
• Familiar with Swift, Objective-C, native iOS SDK and Xcode, iOS frameworks
• Creating automated test suites and ensuring quality in your code
• Experience with a package manager like Cocoapods or Carthage
• You easily help transform business requirements into technical architecture
• Collaborating with designers, product managers, and your development team to deliver compelling user-facing products and services
• Backbase experience an asset (training provided)

What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For

• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies like Scrum. You apply the Agile values to your work and understand how they can add to your team\xe2\x80\x99s success
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders. You\xe2\x80\x99re a consultant, comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges
• You can handle working on multiple projects or tasks and keep them all under control
• You value writing clean, maintainable code that solves business problems quickly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Occasional travel required for training and client projects

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent)
