The Role

My Client is looking for a LOCAL iOS Developer in the Waterloo/Kitchener area \xe2\x80\x93 OR someone willing to move to join their NEW department creating and implementing customer facing applications that utilize the latest available mobile technologies to new solution opportunities that deliver value to their clients and customers.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Computer Science Degree or other relevant post-secondary education.

\xc2\xb7 1-3 years of product and project design/management.

\xc2\xb7 1-3 years Objective-C, Swift, C/C++ and experience with iOS App or framework development.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with the Git Version Control System.

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of the Cendiant Inspect Mobile iOS app, freely downloadable from the Apple App Store.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with RESTful API.

\xc2\xb7 Java applications and Android SDK/NDK experience preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Experience using cross-platform tools like Unity, PhoneGap, and Titanium.

Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Create, enhance, and maintain new and existing features in our iOS (iPhone, iPad) applications.

\xc2\xb7 Create mock-ups and prototypes of new apps or mobile based products for feasibility review.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to the introduction of new design patterns, and technologies within our native platforms.

\xc2\xb7 Design and develop code structures to promote reusability, ensuring there is high quality code through functional testing.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing and reviewing your code and code of other developers to troubleshoot throughout development process.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborating within an Agile software development process; working with other Developers, our Tech Lead, QA, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Designer and other stakeholders to ensure high quality production-ready code.
