About the role




We are looking for a motivated

iOS Developer

to join our dynamic team at the Intact Lab.


As an Intermediate iOS Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile applications tailored for the insurance industry.


You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile solutions that meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.

What you'll do here:



Anticipates or otherwise, tracks and resolves problems resulting from interaction between the various parts of systems (intermediate to complex) or their use. Ensures the design and modeling of an intermediate to complex functionality in order to enable the realization of practical and non-functional documented requirements. Revises the code of his/her peers (Junior developers) and ensures that a revision of his/her own code is carried out. Autonomously while demonstrating expertise in the application, is able to develop the application modules/application component/technical element required (intermediate to complex level). Writes unit and integrations tests for each feature he/she develops. Has a good understanding of the system to perform the support/maintenance (Level I) of the application.

What you bring to the table:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) in iOS development. Proficient in Swift. Deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, Core Data, etc. Experience with threading and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services. Experience with unit testing, component testing, integration testing, and other testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of UI/UX standards and Apple's design principles. Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.*
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in the insurance industry or a similar regulated environment. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise).
