Centurion Lumber Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Invoicing / Data Entry Clerk
to join our team in the lumber industry. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of sales documentation, costings, and delivery coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data entry, invoicing, and logistics support. Experience in export procedures, customs clearance, and handling letters of credit is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Invoicing
Accurately enter inventory, purchase vouchers, shipments, and related data into LumberTrack.
Prepare and issue customer invoices with a strong focus on cost accuracy and supporting documentation.
Costings & Documentation
Review and verify costs associated with product sales, freight, and additional services.
Check accuracy and completeness of shipping, purchase and sales documents.
Logistics Coordination
Manage and prepare all necessary documentation related to pick-up and delivery, working closely with customers, carriers, and terminals.
Track shipments and ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
Export & Customs
Proof export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and sea waybills for accuracy and consistency.
Liaise with customs brokers and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
Letters of Credit
Support the preparation and submission of documentation required under letters of credit.
Ensure timelines and terms are met for international transactions.
Additional Duties
Maintain organized electronic and paper records.
Provide administrative support as required across related departments.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in invoicing and data entry.
Proficiency in advanced computer systems (ERP, Excel, etc.).
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
Ability to verify accuracy and completeness of data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the lumber industry is a strong asset.
Experience with exporting, clearing customs, and handling letters of credit is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping processes is a bonus.
Must have all necessary approvals to work in Canada.
