Role

The IR Manager will be a key member of a small, high-performing TSX and NYSE listed Investor Relations team. This role reports to the Company s Vice President of Investor Relations and ESG but will also require a high degree of coordination with the Company s VP of IR and ESG \xe2\x80\x93 Argentina, legal, sustainability, accounting and operations teams to support the execution of the Company s IR and ESG strategies.

The Company is currently advancing a separation of its North American and Argentina business units. Following the separation, the IR Manager will stay with the North American business reporting to the VP of IR and ESG.

Responsibilities

  • Support the VP of IR and ESG to execute the IR and ESG strategies.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the business and internal stakeholders to ensure all company, external and internal communications, are integrated and consistent to reflect an aligned business strategy narrative.
  • Support the quarterly reporting process by contributing to materials such as news release, conference call script, presentations, supporting documents and peer analysis.
  • Assist with preparing presentations for senior management and board.
  • Peer company analysis and benchmarking; market and industry research on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Disseminate news releases and associated SEDAR filings.
  • Monitor and analyze sell-side analyst reports and market activity; track, collect and analyze analyst estimates to maintain internal consensus models.
  • Manage inbound retail investor emails and telephone inquiries.
  • Manage external website including regular maintenance and updating of content to reflect latest public disclosure.
  • Draft and publishing social media, includes monitoring and reporting.
  • Manage the Company s participation in investor conferences, road shows and other meetings from planning and logistics, calendar management and preparing briefing notes.
  • Support communications efforts for executives, media relations, government relations, internal and external communications, legal and ESG; review communication materials from various teams to ensure alignment with public disclosure and compliance.
  • Assist and support in the development and execution of special, strategic programs, from the IR angle; provide ad-hoc IR support to other teams within finance, legal and corporate secretary, regulatory, marketing, etc.
  • Organize and coordinate logistics for company and sell-side hosted events including meetings, conference calls, non-deal road shows, conferences, and/or analyst days.
  • Assist in the management of the IR calendar and budget.
  • Complete ad-hoc requests as necessary based on internal needs for management and external needs for the investors and analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree (BS/BA) in commerce, economics, business or equivalent in a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in investor relations, finance, marketing or corporate communication positions for a publicly traded company.
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements relating to matters of investor relations, and corporate governance.
  • Familiar with NYSE or TSX listing standards, preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, planning and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Desire to own and execute responsibilities independently with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Demonstrated strong financial aptitude, with refined research and analytical skills, and solid writing skills backed by strong capacity to listen, discern and synthesize observations from multiple sources.
  • Highly proactive and self-motivated, with ability to operate well under minimal supervision, including effectively working from home, and in situations characterized by ambiguity,where priorities and procedures may change frequently; willing to independently assess situations, take initiative and assume ownership of job responsibilities.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize and focus on what is mission-critical, plan, organize, project manage, while operating in a high-profile, highly dynamic, ever changing environment with constantly evolving priorities that frequently require a flexible mindset.
  • Valued as a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, and a highly developed sense of judgment, with ability to operate in a high-pressure environment with unalterable deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, a level of comfort with executive communications, strategic thinking abilities and strong ability to collaborate, build and maintain relationships with a myriad of various internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
