Opportunity for Summer Students(Investments - Admin & Research Support)Alberta Innovates is looking to provide meaningful work experience to students who are currently enrolled in any recognized post-secondary educational institutions. This will be a four-month engagement starting first week of May 2025.Successful candidates will be paid on hourly basis, and work may be up to 36.25 hours every week.The Opportunity

  • Job Duties:
Talent and research projects - persona mapping, federal, grant & partner research, project and process management, administrative processes
  • Background Required:
Education focus: Education, Business, Technology, Office ManagementData & document organization and management, proactivity in people & project coordination, identifying optimizing and efficiency methods, specifically:
  • Research experience
  • Experience working on projects (coordinating, implementing)
  • Communication skills, ability to work on a team and independently
  • An individual who is coachable/trainable and able to receive feedback and incorporate feedback
  • An understanding of the post-secondary system in Alberta
  • Interest/knowledge regarding emerging technologies
  • Experience with data gathering, organizing and analysis
  • Physical Demands:
