These solutions include initial public offerings; public and private equity and equity-linked financings; mergers, acquisitions and restructurings; defense advisory assignments; strategic partnerships; public and private debt placements; share repurchases; and hedging, swaps and derivative transactions.
Morgan Stanley's Canada investment banking team ("Morgan Stanley Canada") covers clients with a Canadian nexus across diverse industries and products, including industry coverage and execution for a wide range of clients in the Metals & Mining sector. Morgan Stanley has a longstanding franchise in Canada, with approximately 50 years of uninterrupted presence, and is consistently involved in sector-leading transactions.
We are seeking an Investment Banking Associate with strong investment banking experience in metals and mining to join Morgan Stanley Canada. This role would be based in our Toronto office and will primarily cover metals and mining, and will also provide exposure to other industries that Morgan Stanley Canada covers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with global mining and Canadian corporate clients on a wide range of complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions and equity / debt financing transactions. This role would require strong collaboration with professionals throughout the global firm to deliver high quality advice and execution to our clients.
