Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an energetic, organized and detail-oriented individual with exceptional multi-tasking and interpersonal skills to join a growing advisory team in our Edmonton office.
Responsibilities:Working directly with a team of Investment Advisors where the focus is on client relationships and building a sustainable wealth management business;
Participate in client meetings and contribute to the discovery, planning, and implementation process;
Prepare financial planning documents, investment proposals, and follow-up communications;
Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts;
Assist in managing client relationships and ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness;
Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a planning or advice capacity;
Strong interest in becoming a Financial Planner and working in an advice-based role;
Progress toward or completion of financial planning designations (CFP or QAFP) is an asset;
Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset;
Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills;
Experience with Dataphile, Salesforce and Conquest would be an asset.
