Position Summary

We are seeking an

Investment Analyst

to join our

Real Estate & PropTech Investment Team

. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset valuation, investment analysis, and business planning in a technology-driven environment. You will collaborate with leadership and AI/product teams to support portfolio strategy, capital planning, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support investment and asset management activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio optimization using UnlockLand's AI platform. Build and maintain financial models (DCF, IRR, ROI) and perform valuation analyses. Conduct market research integrating zoning, sales, and demographic data. Collaborate with data and AI teams to enhance predictive investment models. Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Track portfolio KPIs and assist with variance and trend analysis. Contribute to annual planning, strategic forecasting, and capital allocation projects. Participate in due diligence and feasibility assessments for development and acquisition opportunities.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics. CFA, CPA, or MBA (completed or in progress) considered an asset.

Experience

0-2 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, consulting, or financial analysis. Familiarity with valuation methods, DCF modeling, and investment underwriting.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an asset. Knowledge of Argus Enterprise, GIS, or AI modeling tools is an advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments. Collaborative mindset and interest in innovation within real estate and analytics.
